There are a few things that can make the average OSINT/ Open Source Investigation experience easier. If you’re starting out in this field, an enthusiast or just curious, then these few extensions should be of help.

First of all, for those very new to this, to install a chrome extension, you would go to the Chrome Web Store (https://chrome.google.com/webstore) and search for the extension you want, then click ‘add to chrome’. Simple.

Now to my favorites. Let’s start simple.

Google Translate

This is simply because you’ve come across a term or phrase in another language. You’ve googled the term and the search results are in that language. Or perhaps you’ve come across a news article in another language.

BBC News in Arabic.

Simply right click and translate to English.
